TMC manuals are a bit hard to come by, though you can find some of them at the usual manual sources.

  Thanks to Larry Godek for lending me this fragile, rare, possibly unique "Preliminary Manual" for the PAL-1K. This is a scan of a mimeograph, so a bit difficult to read. There were also a bunch of blueprints with the manual--I've scanned them at 11x17, 300 DPI, so you can (with some effort) paste up a copy of the originals at full scale!

  Housed in a 6-foot rack, this sideband generator is used with the PAL-1K to make one of the many variations of the SBT-1K. It is also used as an exciter for the GPT-10K and -40K transmitters.

• SBT-1K Transmitter System
  The following is the manual for the SBT-1K(C). Housed in a single 6-foot rack, this version of the SBT-1K is intended for RTTY operation. This manual describes the assembly, which contains a PAL-1KA, SWR-1K, VOX-5, XFK, APP-4 power panel, and RAK-9C rack. Unfortunately, the very useful diagram which shows how the modules are connected to one another is missing. The manuals for the individual components can be found elsewhere on this page.
