I've had several of these radios pass through the shack. They're incredibly well built, as you can see from the photos below. With IF selectivity broad as the proverbial barn, they're great AM easy listening radios, but probably not the first choice for amateur service. Good sensitivity on low bands, somewhat less so toward their upper frequency range. Terrific audio from the pair of 25L6's. This radio has GOT to be the heaviest transformerless radio on the planet!
